Waiting and Praying...

So this is it. Travis is taking the DAT right now. He has actually been testing for about an hour. He left around 12:45 to do whatever it was he had to do before the test. I know he had to show two pieces of ID and I don't know what else. I was getting a bit edgy with my girls as the time approached 1:30. I really felt the need to have some alone time with God and just come before His Word and pray. I managed to get them both in bed right around then and then other distractions started hitting. I managed to fend them off and spent some awesome time with the Lord. He led me to this Scripture - 1 Peter 5:6-8a "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert." That is just part of what I read but it is this verse that keeps coming to mind to pray over Travis.

Thank you God that whatever happens is in Your hands.
