I love how God works

I keep meaning to come on here and blog...but too many things are getting in the way right now. I couldn't keep from sharing this, though. A few weeks ago, there was a women's prayer time at the church, mainly just to come and listen to the Lord and learn how to pray. It was the same morning as the early morning Bible Study that meets at my house. It was just Ellen and I that morning and as we were getting ready to pray, we heard Mia wake up. Often times, she wakes up singing a song - usually one she's heard in the car or one we sang before bed the night before. This particular morning, she woke up singing, "Better is one day" based on the Scripture Psalm 84:10 "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere." I thought that was interesting because we haven't listened to that song in I don't know how long and I didn't know when she would have heard it last. That song has always been significant for me, because I heard it on the radio on my way to work right before my dad passed away. I felt like that was God talking to me and re-assuring me that my dad was with Him and everything was going to be okay. Ihad it as the main ringtone on my phone for a long time. Anyway...back to that morning. Because Mia woke up singing that song, Ellen started praying that Scripture, and praying for the women's prayer time at the church. Come to find out, several women either had that song in their head or heard it on the radio on the way to the prayer time (including Jody) so the whole prayer time was based on that particular Scripture. It's things like that, that make me stand in wonder at our God. He put the song in the heart of a little girl. His song, his desire for our lives. He spoke the same message to so many people that day who were gathering to seek His face. He has SO many things to teach us and something so simple can be turned into something so amazing. God is doing great things and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
